Cocinando con caro gómez

When starting complementary feeding, everything will be new for your baby: the flavors, colors, smells, textures, consistencies, shapes, temperatures and even how he or she feels eating with the family or joining in the social act of sharing food.

Complementary feeding has changed a lot over the years, from starting a few days after birth with fruit or vegetable juices, offering vegetable smoothies and other foods at 3 months of age, to the current recommendations of starting at 4 months (for babies who are fed with infant formula or mixed formula) and at 6 months for babies who are exclusively breastfed.
